Fortec UK has introduced Cincon's new LFM420S Series. Engineered with precision and innovation, this series delivers an impressive 420W output power in a compact 5" x 3.29" x 1" frame, setting a benchmark for performance and versatility. At just 1" in profile, the series combines power and efficiency in a space-efficient package. Its semi-potted chassis and baseplate-cooled configuration ensure optimal performance across diverse settings, making it an excellent choice for applications where space is at a premium. With a wide-ranging input compatibility spanning from 85-264VAC, this series adapts seamlessly to various operating conditions.

Engineered to excel even in the harshest conditions, the series functions flawlessly at altitudes of up to 5000m. With Over Voltage Category approvals of OVC III (2000m) and OVC II (5000m), it ensures reliability and safety in demanding environments, delivering peace of mind for critical operations.

The series delivers an impressive power density of 25W per cubic inch, redefining efficiency and compactness in power supply solutions. Its fanless operation provides consistent performance without compromising on noise levels or cooling effectiveness, even sustaining 350W with an external baseplate. Operating reliably over a wide case temperature range from -40C to +85C, this series attains up to 94.5% efficiency rates. The series is obtainable in various output voltages, including 12V, 15V, 24V, 28V, 30V, 36V, 48V, and 54V, ensuring compatibility with various electronic devices and systems.

Equipped with Over Temperature Protection, Over Voltage Protection, and Continuous Short Circuit Protection, the series meets stringent safety standards. With approvals from IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 and compliance with EN 55032 and CISPR/FCC Class B standards, users can trust in the safety and integrity of their operations.

The series is suitable for industrial settings, telecom infrastructure, network installations, IPC, battery storage, drones, ROV, substations, marine applications, and harsh environments for robotics, showcasing its adaptability and resilience. For applications needing less power, the LFM300S series is also available.
