Tumbler Technologies, Inc + TRUMPower has released its new TMPC-700G, a 700W medical grade AC/DC power supply. This ATX PC power supply is supplied in a standard size of 165mm x 150mm x 86mm and is furnished with over voltage and over current protections. The power supply meets the latest medical 60601-1 and ITE 62368-1 safety standards. It is approved to IEC/EN 60601-1-2 4th edition medical EMC standards giving it the flexibility to be employed for many applications.

The power supply provides a total output peak power capability of 780W for less than ten milliseconds. This peak power is shared between the two +12V rails to give them each a peak load capability of up to 35A to support even the most demanding medical graphics and image processing applications.

The power supply can operate at a temperature range between 0C and +50C with a maximum operating altitude of 5,000m. The 700W-rated power supply is provided with a universal input range of 90-264VAC and DC voltage outputs and maximum loads of +3.3V/24A, +5V/30A, double +12V/30A (35A peak), -5V/0.2A, -12V/0.5A, and +5Vsb/3A respectively. Its maximum overall output is 700W, with +3.3V and +5V supplying a combined maximum load of 150W. The combined maximum load for +12V1 and +12V2 must not exceed 58A. The minimum loads required for the power supply are 0.1A for +12V1, 0.2A for +12V2, and 0.05A for +5Vsb.

The high-efficiency design of the power supply allows it to comply with 80PLUS GOLD efficiency standards and ATX12V 2.53 standards. The withstand voltages for the power supply are 4,000VAC input to output (2MOPP), 1,500VAC input to ground (1MOPP), and 1,500 VAC output to ground. The highly reliable power supply is capable of over 100,000 hours MTBF at full load at 25C ambient per MIL-HDBK-217F.

The TMPC-700G is certified to the latest medical standards, including UL/IEC/EN 60601-1 (Edition 3.1), ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1:2012, and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 60601-1:2014. It is also certified for IEC 62368-1 (3rd edition). The power supply complies with IEC/EN 60601-1-2 4th edition medical EMC and immunity standards, including EN 55011/EN55022, FCC/VCCI class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3, EN 61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN 61000-4-4, EN 61000-4-5, EN 61000-4-6, EN 61000-4-8, and EN 61000-4-11.
