Switching regulators offer best-in-class power efficiency

Vicor PI3523 ZVS Switching Regulators provide designers with maximum power density and versatility for high-efficiency point-of-load DC-DC regulation. The regulators offer high input voltage, wide input range DC-DC Vicor ZVS Buck regulators combining power switches, controller, and support components all inside a high-density SiP. Integration of high-performance Zero-Voltage Switching topology, improves point-of-load performance, to produce best-in-class power efficiency of up to 98%. The device requires only an external inductor, two voltage selection resistors and minimal capacitors to form a complete DC-DC switch-mode buck regulator.


The device measure 10mm x 14mm x 2.6mm LGA SiP. Typical applications for the device include HV to PoL buck regulator applications; computing, communications, industrial, and automotive equipment.
