Miniature shielded digital audio transformers reduce negative effects of EMI

HALO Electronics TG10-DA miniature shielded digital audio transformers, available from Mouser, provide a compact package solution to reduce the negative effects of electromagnetic interference. The series offers a frequency bandwidth of 10kHz to 200MHz, low Cw/w (inter-winding capacitance) and an integrated shield for enhanced CMR performance. These devices are also capable of producing 1500Vrms galvanic isolation between primary and secondary windings that protects expensive audio equipment from common mode transient voltage that has the potential to damage the IC. The series is ideal for use with Cirrus Logic digital audio transceivers.
