Enviro-friendly metallized polypropylene film capacitor for DC-link applications

A new environmentally-friendly metallized polypropylene film capacitor for DC-link applications - the Vishay MKP1848C series is now available from TTI Europe. The series offers a broad capacitance range of 1µF to 500µF, compact footprints, and voltage ratings from 500V to 1200V. With its high capacitance per volume and a long life of >100 000 hours at +70C, under nominal DC voltage, the economical MKP1848C is optimized for industrial power applications, including renewable energy inverters, motor drives and power supplies.
