Wet tantalum super capacitor for DC (hold-up) and low-frequency pulse applications

AVX TWD DCUltraMax Series wet tantalum super capacitor is now available from Mouser stock. The axial-leaded capacitor is designed for DC (hold-up) and low-frequency pulse applications. TWD capacitors utilize high CV tantalum powder, allowing them to achieve super high capacitance values similar to a supercapacitor range while bringing additional benefits, such as reflow soldering capability and an extended temperature range up to 85C. The wet tantalum design makes the capacitors suitable for applications with high-reliability requirements, says the company.
