KOA Speer HV73V Thick Film Chip Resistors, available now from Mouser, are designed for high-voltage automotive applications and are AEC-Q200-qualified. Special inner material makes the part ideal for high voltages with enhanced temperature cycling stability in comparison to standard resistors. Also, a special coating ensures that higher voltages can be applied at operating temperatures up to +155C. The series has a resistance range of 10kOhm to 51MOhm and are available in case sizes, 0603, 0805, and 1206. The series delivers maximum working voltages 2.5 times higher than general-purpose type chip resistors.

Typical applications include battery module (voltage monitoring, battery management circuit); inverter module (inverter circuit, DC-DC converter); around circuits where regenerative voltage of motor is applied; and voltage detection circuit of quick charger.
