Dual-supply bus transceivers ideal for partial-power-down applications

Texas Instruments SN74AXC1T45 Single-Bit Dual-Supply Bus Transceivers use two single configurable power-supply rails and are operational using both VCCA and VCCB supplies. The A port tracks VCCA and the B port tracks VCCB both accepting supply voltages from 0.65V to 3.6V. The DIR pin defines the direction of signal propagation. When the DIR pin is configured in HIGH mode, translation is from Port A to Port B. Translation is from Port B to Port A when configured in LOW mode. The DIR pin tracks logic-high and logic-low thresholds with VCCA. The device is ideal for partial-power-down applications using the Ioff current. No excessive current is drawn from or to an input, output, or combined I/O that is biased to a specific voltage while the device is powered down via the Ioff protection circuitry. If either VCCA or VCCB is less than 100mV, the VCC isolation feature ensures both I/O ports enter a high-impedance state by disabling their outputs. Offering robust power sequencing performance, the glitch suppression circuitry allows either supply rail to be powered on or off in any order.
