Connector assemblies offer a compact form factor to accommodate restricted height areas

Mouser now offers the Harting Han HPR Slim and EasyCon Connector Assemblies. The connectors are a family of hood and housing options designed for Han modular contacts. The series is optimised for up to 4xHan HC Modular 250 contacts and offers a compact, flat form factor to accommodate restricted height areas. Separate mounting panels allow for various installation orientations, removing the need to customise design profiles for specific applications. The stainless steel, IP66/IP68/IP69K-rated HPR 22 Slim series is made for transportation (rail), oil and gas, and power generation and transmission applications. The connectors provide a two-part hood and two-part housing design, plus visible internal wiring, so contacts are visible during a hassle-free assembly. The series provides flexible contact arrangement including six different Han-Modular modules, lending the flexibility to create in power, signal and data transmission into one connector. These connector assemblies incorporate tools, dust protection covers and models with either screw locking or toggle locking options. The connector assemblies are ideal for railcar-to-railcar applications such as train engine motor connections and bogie of trains, under-car interfaces.
