New miniature optocoupler designed for ease of use

Luso has announced that HVM Technology has released a miniature 15kV Opto-Coupler. The OPTO-150 is a miniature, 15kV rated high voltage optocoupler which combines low voltage LED drivers with high voltage photodetector diodes. Typical applications for the device include high voltage switching, high voltage isolation, voltage level shifting, external voltage sensing, and mass spectrometry. Created for ease of use, with no need for any external components; the device simplifies design demands and provides circuit isolation in a space-saving (0.55" L x 0.65" W x 0.25" H) encapsulated package.
