New metallized polypropylene film capacitors feature high safety and humidity resistance

Panasonic Industry Europe has a new series of polypropylene film capacitors featuring high humidity resistance (THB test: 85C/85%/240VAC/1000h (C<1µF) and high safety. In accordance with UL/CSA and European safety regulation class X2, all C series components are equipped with a safety mechanism. Designed for interference suppressor applications, ECQUA series film capacitors benefit from a compact design, a flame-retardant plastic case and non-combustible resin. Fully RoHS compliant, the products have a rated voltage of 275VAC, a rated capacitance of 0.1µF up to 4.7µF, and capacitance tolerance of ±10% (K), ±20% (M). The category temperature range is -40C up to +110C.
