New compact chassis-mount power supplies offer easy integration

XP Power has launched the SMP350 series of rugged AC/DC chassis-mount power supply units delivering up to 350W of power and targeting a wide range of equipment in technology, industrial and healthcare applications. Incorporating built-in fan cooling, screw terminal connections for simple installation and low EMI emissions, the series provides easy integration into end equipment, decreasing design and manufacturing costs and time to market. Packaged in a 3.6" x 7" x 1.7" enclosure, the series supplies power densities up to 13W/in3 offering a highly efficient, compact and low-noise solution. The series has a universal 85 to 264VAC input voltage range for using worldwide and provides a range of different models with 12, 15, 18, 24, 28, 36 and 48VDC outputs. With a wide operating temperature range of –40C to +70C and full power to +50C, it meets the majority of industrial applications. The series also features class-B EMI emissions compliance and remote on/off capability to simplify system control.
