Protection thyristors designed for protecting AC power input lines

Littelfuse P-0FNL 3kA SIDACtor Series are bi-directional high surge current protection thyristor devices in a TO-262M package. They are available now from Mouser. The protection thyristors are devised to be used in series with clamping devices such as TVS diodes or varistors for protecting AC power input lines. Target applications are outdoor CATV network, power supplies, LED lighting, and inverters. The series components feature a 3kA 8/20 surge rating wherein the surge capability does not degrade after multiple events. The company's thyristors exhibit a low offshoot voltage, a low on-state voltage, and have a fast response time. The series is automotive grade AEC-Q101 qualified, RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free.
