Miniature circular connector series designed for industrial data and communication applications

Lane Electronics offers a series of miniature circular connectors manufactured by Neutrik. Called etherCON, powerCON and opticalCON, the connectors have been designed to satisfy a wide range of industrial data and communication applications. The etherCON is a ruggedized and lockable RJ45 system optimized for industrial network applications. The connectors feature a diecast shell with what the company describes as a unique chuck-type strain relief with versions and allow the assembly of already assembled conventional RJ45 cables. The company’s powerCON is a locking three conductor AC connector with contacts for line, neutral and pre-mating ground contact. It is an ideal replacement for appliance couplers when a rugged solution combined with a locking device is needed to guarantee a safe and reliable power connection. The opticalCON MTP cable connector features a robust all-metal housing and heavy-duty strain relief. An innovative spherical dust cover protects the fibre from contamination and minimizes maintenance.
