Four-wire measurement connectors simple to use and offer space saving

JPR Electronics are now offering the Schützinger GmbH Kelvin range of simple to use and space saving Four-Wire Measurement connectors. The connectors enables engineers to measure current and voltage through two opposing measurement channels removing any effects on the measured result due to transition resistance of the measuring leads and any thermovoltages.   The system enables low resistances measured with a small test current to be easily and accurately determined. Four sockets on the measuring tool and four plugs on the measuring leads are provided to make the four-wire measurement.   Due to the coaxial arrangement of plug contacts the system requires minimal space in the measuring tool housing enabling a simple set up of the measuring leads. As the system is compatible with standard 4mm safety plugs other measuring tasks can be easily be carried out using just two sockets.   Paul Raynor, director of JPR Electronics, comments, “The Schützinger Kelvin test connector range provides designers, test engineers, production test and research laboratories with an error free measurement system.”
