Crimp connector receptacle housings can accept terminal position assurance devices

Available now from RS Components, TE Connectivity’s VAL-U-LOK double row receptacle housings with a 4.2mm centreline for use in wire to wire and wire to board applications. These VAL-U-LOK receptacle housings have an easy mate and unmate design with keying for accurate alignment and an integral housing locking latch for secure mating. This new range of the receptacle housings accepts optional TPA (Terminal Position Assurance) devices. TPA devices ensure that the terminals are fully seated in the housings and prevent terminal back-out due to vibration, shock or pulling forces. The housings of these VAL-U-LOK receptacle housings are available in two different materials.
