Trenz Electronic’s FPGA System on Modules (SoMs) are now available from Digi-Key. The company uses the latest technologies and components from top semiconductor companies to make the smallest form factor modules. In the event that an off-the shelf FPGA board will not fit the customer’s requirements, the design can be easily adapted by their comprehensive engineering design services. “By partnering with Digi-Key we now have strong access to the worldwide market through their global customer base,” said Thorsten Trenz, CEO at Trenz Electronic. “With Digi-Key’s large selection of in-stock components, short delivery times and easy payment options, we are able to satisfy more customers in less time.” The FPGA modules are ideal for embedded vision; industrial cameras, control and monitoring; AFM microscopy; medical test instruments; and ASIC emulation applications, among others. “We are excited to be working with Trenz Electronic to offer our customers FPGA support and development in their designs,’ said David Stein, VP of global semiconductors at Digi-Key. “As FPGAs get more and more complex, the use of SOMs allows the design engineer to have access to easy-to-use components for integration.”
