Single-output isolated DC-DC converters for applications with varying input voltages

Now available in Europe through TTI Europe, Murata’s RUW15 series of 15W ultra-wide single output isolated DC-DC converters are designed for transportation, industrial and telecommunication applications with variable input voltages or high transient voltages and where a hold-up capability is required. RUW series devices feature an ultra-wide input voltage range of 16-160VDC and are capable of withstanding surges from 24, 36, 48, 72, 90 and 110V systems, largely eliminating the requirement for input protection circuitry. Optional features include a Power Fail/DC OK signal and circuitry to facilitate long hold-up times with a small external capacitor across ±Vint pins. The DC-DC converters are UL 60950 recognized for reinforced insulation.
