What is RSS?
Trying to keep up to date with ever changing content on the web can prove costly in terms of time.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could get that content to come to you instead?
Well you can. RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication' and is a protocol for the retrieval of content in XML format
from RSS enabled websites. You will need an RSS application on your desktop (see some applications) and you then let
your RSS application know which content to fetch by:
- Dragging the orange RSS button into your RSS application
- Dragging the URL of the RSS feed into your RSS application
- Cutting and pasting the URL of the RSS feed into your RSS application
So, with electropages you have a number of RSS feeds to choose from.
