Whereas the vast majority of TCXOs operate in the -40C to +85C (or narrower)
temperature range, Bliley Technologies' latest T45 TCXO has an ultra-wide
temperature range capability of -55C to +125C for high-reliability
performance under extreme environmental conditions.
The T45 TCXO is well suited to drilling and exploration in the geothermal
energy and petroleum industries, as well as aerospace and military
applications. Design engineers gain the benefits of TCXO stability,
production run flexibility and customizable frequencies ranging from 20 to
120MHz.
Packaged with a ruggedized, four-point mount quartz crystal, the T45 TCXO
offers customizable frequencies between 20MHz and 120MHz with tight
stabilities as low as +/-5ppm over -55C to +125C.
"A key benefit we offer to design engineers is that Bliley makes its T45
TCXO crystals onsite. As a result, and unlike many of our competitors, we
can produce small- to medium-sized runs of TCXO customer specified
frequencies," said Dennis Barrick, Bliley’s global vice president of
marketing and business development.
The T45 TCXO can be specified as a RoHS-compliant component and is also
available with HCMOS or sine wave output options, says the company.
