Ecopac - New slim-line Din-Rail power supplies offer up to 92% efficiency

A new series of Mean Well slim-line Din-Rail power supplies is now available from Ecopac Power. The single-phase wide input range WDR-120 Series offers a 120W AC/DC supply with up to 92% efficiency.

This WDR series is equipped with 180 to 550VAC single-phase wide input range, able to operate with single-phase 230VAC input, or utilising one phase from the 330~550VAC three-phase power system, which greatly increases the flexibility of the power supply.

With up-to-date circuit design the WDR-120 series can provide 120W continuously up to 60C with only free air convection, or operate up to 70C ambient temperature with power derating.

Just 40mm wide, the unit is over 30% smaller than its predecessor the DRH-120. With a wider input range, the WDR-120 also has 6% higher efficiency than equivalent models. Other standard functions include DC OK relay contact, power on LED indicator, as well as protection for short-circuit, over-load, over-voltage, and over-temperature.

The WDR-120 series complies with UL/CUL/CE safety standards and also meets the EMC requirements of heavy industrial immunity level (EN61000-6-2).

Typical applications include industrial control system, semiconductor fabrication equipment, factory automation, electro-mechanical applications, and marine related installations, says the company.
