RS - Low-cost PCB or panel-mount relays target diverse applications

The low-cost PCB or panel-mount T9A Tyco Electronics relays are now available from RS Components.

The current switching is up to 30A in SPST and 20A in SPDT arrangements.  They meet the UL873 and UL508 spacing which covers eighth-inch through air and quarter-inch over the surface. Load connections are made via quarter-inch QC terminals and safety wells accept insulated female QC terminals.

They can withstand typically 10 million operations and the minimum contact load is 1A at 5VDC or 12VAC. The initial contact resistance is 75 milliohms maximum at the minimum rated switch current. The UL Class F insulation system is standard making these devices well suited to many industrial, commercial and residential applications, says the company.
