A new addition to its SWL family of industrial valve regulated lead-acid
(VRLA) batteries, the SWL3300FR, has been announced by Yuasa Battery.
The SWL3300FR follows the same increased performance profile as the other
batteries in the SWL range. This typically gives 40% extra discharge
capacity over and above a standard NPL type.
The 12V SWL3300FR features a nominal capacity of 110Ah C20 to 10.5V at 20C
(102Ah C10 to 10.8V at 20C). Standby life expectancy is 10 years at
2.275V/cell float charge at 20C.
The SWL3300FR battery features a UL94V0 flame-retardant ABS case material as
standard (Oxygen index 30) and can be used in any orientation excluding
continuous use in the inverted position. The new model complies with BS6290
Part 4 (1997) and IEC 60896-21/22. Case dimensions are 350mm (l) x 168mm (w)
x 225mm (h) (all ±2mm) with a mass of 38kg approx. The batteries are ideal
for use in uninterruptible power and similar applications, says the company
