Farnell - Mini-card PCI-e connectors allow up to 50 I/Os in two square inches

Now available from Farnell - Samtec's MB1 series is intended for mating with small-form (0,80mm and 1,60mm) mini-cards. With 1mm pitch, the interfaces are available in 20, 30, 40 or 50 ways.

Reliable alignment of the daughter-card is ensured by card guides and the fine pitch allows up to 50 I/Os in only two square inches of motherboard area.

Contacts are high-quality, spring-tempered beryllium copper and do not require the use of a mating connector on the daughter-card, says the company.
