Display drivers, power management ICs, LED drivers, touch sensors, and audio
codecs, developed by fabless semiconductor company, Leadis Technology, are
all now available from global distributor, Mouser.
Mouser's Leadis stock includes display drivers, power management ICs, LED
drivers, touch sensors, and audio CODECs that enable and enhance the
features of mobile and consumer electronic devices. The Leadis LDS8845
4-channel LED driver features ultra-low dropout and no noise with a
high-efficiency current regulator that can drive up to four LEDs. Other
advanced products include the PureTouch Capacitance Touch IC series. Within
that series, the LDS6000 IC features 15 sensor inputs using a single
controller and the LDS6020 IC includes integrated keypad LED drivers for
lighting effects using a single controller.
Mike Scott, Mouser vice president of active products, said: "Leadis is
truly an innovator in the areas of sight, sound, and touch. For years,
design engineers in Asia have trusted Leadis for their cutting-edge,
patented products and Mouser can now offer those to customers throughout the
world."
Skip Wong, vice president of worldwide sales at Leadis Technology, said:
"Leadis is very pleased to add Mouser as a distribution partner. We look
forward to offering a wide range of Leadis products to Mouser's broad
customer base, from our PureTouch family of Touch Controllers to a broad
portfolio of LED Driver and Power Management solutions. The LDS6xxx family
of Touch Products offers industry-leading low power solutions, contributing
to "green" compliance for capacitive button, slider, and scroll
applications, and the LDS8xxx family of products offer high-efficiency in
the 4 and 6-channel LED Driver backlighting, and a Flash/Lamp Driver family
targeted at the fast growing market of lighting applications."
Mouser Electronics is the only major distributor to publish a new 2,100+
page print catalogue every 90 days. Featuring 2,184 pages of the newest
products and technologies, from over 390 premiere electronic component
suppliers, availability of its annual first-quarter catalogue, catalogue 637
(Feb - April 09) has just been announced.
An additional 48 pages of new products were added for Catalogue 637, while
pages of products not recommended for new designs were removed, thus
ensuring design engineers access to the latest, most up-to-date products
available for their new design projects. In the last quarter alone, Mouser
has added over 25,000 new products to the online and free print catalogue.
Just in the last year, 32 new suppliers were added, to the company's
linecard, nine of which were added in this first quarterly edition,
including Hirose, Tektronix, Spansion, Wurth Electronics, IAR Systems,
CalAmp, Hendon Semiconductor, AXSEM, and Kamaya.
New products featured in Catalogue 637 include Texas Instruments' 2.4GHz RF
front End Range Extender CC2591, Microchip's FCC-certified RF Transceiver
Modules MRF24J40MA, Freescale's 8-bit MCU with 32-bit compatibility
MC9S08AC128/96, Molex's SFP+ high speed, stacked multi-port connector, and
Zilog's ePIR Zdots motion detection SBC.
"Mouser excels at rapidly introducing new products so our engineering
customers can quickly integrate the newest technology into their new
designs," said Mouser President and CEO Glenn Smith. "By publishing a free,
entirely new print catalogue every 90 days and updating our online catalogue
and website daily, we give our customers a time-to-market advantage that no
other distributor in the industry offers."
Mouser Electronics is the only major distributor in the industry to publish
a new catalogue every 90 days. Due to the constant evolution of new
products, new technologies, and new applications for existing products,
Mouser's free catalogue makes it easy to quickly find the latest product
information. Coloured logos and banners easily identify new products, new
technologies, and new suppliers; while four-colour, heavy stock section
guides aid in quick identification of product categories.
With an annual circulation of over one million and quarterly mailings of
250,000 worldwide, the new print catalogue is designed to work in concert
with the distributor's online catalogue featuring more than a million
products for easy browse and buy. In addition, mouser.com contains more than
one million cross-referenced parts, over 900,000 downloadable data sheets,
as well as supplier-specific reference designs, application notes, and other
technical design information.
Mouser's globalization effort has resulted in catalogue pricing for several
foreign currencies, as well as local language web domains to serve other
countries, says the company.
