Round lens SMD LEDs designed for harsh environments

Available from RS Components, the LUXEON HR30 series of LEDs from Lumileds are designed for use in harsh environments. The LEDs come in a SMD (surface mounted) package which is gold plated lead framed. They utilise high quality materials which are robust and corrosion resistant, providing an LED with a long lifetime. Their high performance makes the LEDs suitable for a wide range of applications. They are ideal for applications where there may be moisture in the air, for example indoor swimming pools.
