High-Speed, high-precision, low-distortion ADC drivers have low THD and noise

The OPAx626 family of operational amplifiers, from Texas Instruments, are 16-bit and 18-bit, high-precision, SAR ADC drivers with low THD and noise. This family of precision op amps is fully characterised and specified with a 16-bit settling time of 280ns that enables a true 16-bit effective number of bits. With a high DC precision of only 100µV offset voltage, a wide gain-bandwidth product of 120MHz, and a low wideband noise of 2.5nV/vHz, this family is optimised for driving high-throughput, high-resolution SAR ADCs in applications such as the ADS88xx family of SAR ADCs. The device family is available in 5-pin SOT and 8-pin VSSOP packages and is specified for operation from –40C to +125C.
