Surge protection modules feature very low limiting voltage

Mouser are stocking the Littelfuse LSP10GIHP Surge Protection Modules feature very low measured limiting voltage (MLV) in a 20kA Imax surge rated module. The device also features low voltage protection level (Up). The lower clamping voltage allows it to provide coordinated surge protection with more LED drivers than other surge protection devices and to extend the lifetime of the luminaire. Double-insulated cable allows for this SPD to be used in a Class II luminaire. This surge protection device is self-protected and designed to provide transient overvoltage protection in outdoor and commercial LED lightning fixtures. The device features Littelfuse thermally protected varistor technology. The built-in thermal disconnect function provides additional protection to prevent catastrophic failure and fire hazards even under the extreme circumstances of varistor end-of-life or overvoltage conditions. It also features a built-in LED indicator that notifies when replacement of the module is needed.
