Low-power high-performance PC targets industrial applications

Now available from Review Display Systems (RDS) the new high-performance AAEÓN Boxer 6638U PC features the Intel Core i3-5010U, a low-power, high-performance processor using minimal power yet delivering many features aimed at Industrial users. Smaller than previous versions of the Boxer series it measures 197mm x 174mm x 55mm, compact but still big on features. A cable-less design ensures it is easy to maintain. It has four COM ports and is equipped with dual Gigabit Ethernet. Designed to operate on a wide voltage input range of 9V – 24VDC it has an extended temperature range of -20C to + 60C which makes it ideal for industrial automation applications. This high-performance embedded PC is not only full featured but is low cost and is constructed in such a way that access to the devices interior is easy. Just by removing screws at the base of the device it can be easily configured to the user’s applications. No specialised methods or tools are required, says the company.
