Acal BFi now exclusively offers Colibrys’ market-leading high-temperature MEMS accelerometer range in Europe.

Offering the highest performance stability with shock resistance and the lowest non-linearity and noise compared to similar MEMS sensors, the range operates at temperature ranges from -40C to 150C for more than 1000 hours, and can withstand intermittent temperature exposure of up to 175C. It also features an embedded temperature sensor that compensates thermal errors to achieve accurate, reliable readings.

The TS1000T series is based on proven MEMS technology, which continually pushes the boundaries of vibration and shock endurance for heavy duty and harsh environment applications such as down-hole measurement while drilling, directional drilling, borehole surveys, geological exploration and logging while drilling.

Martin Kemp, European business development director for sensors, Acal BFi, said: “The addition of Colibrys’ TS1000T range to our existing harsh environment sensor portfolio enables us to offer our customers the most innovative and high quality sensors available on the market. Combined with our expertise in designing and building custom sensor assemblies for harsh and high-end applications, customers can rely on Acal BFi to provide accurate, reliable and cost-effective sensing solutions for their end products.”

The TS1000T series is available in three ranges, ± 2g, ±5g and ±10g.
