High-performance, ultra-low capacitance transient voltage suppression device

Semtech RClamp1851ZA, stocked by Mouser, are high-performance, ultra-low capacitance transient voltage suppression device. RClamp TVS diodes are designed to replace multilayer varistors and protect sensitive electronics from damage or latch-up due to ESD. The device offers transient protection for high-speed signal lines IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) ±20kV (air), ±17kV. They are available in a 2-pin SLP0603P2X3F package measuring 0.6mm x 0.3mm with a nominal height of only 0.25mm. It is designed to replace multilayer varistors in portable applications such as cell phones, notebook computers and other portable electronics. This device offers desirable characteristics for board level protection including fast response time, low operating and clamping voltage, and no device degradation. Ideal applications include portable devices such as cellular phones, digital cameras, and tablet PCs.
