Chip-on-board LEDs feature uniform brightness over their entire surface

Now stocked by Mouser, Luminus Devices' CBM-120-UV Series mosaic array chip-on-board LEDs feature uniform brightness over the entire LED chip surface. The densely-packed arrays produce optical power and brightness not possible with single chip packages. CBM-120-UV LEDs can be used to replace arc and halogen lamps. The LEDs have a 0.6C/W thermal resistance from junction to heatsink. Thermal management is critical in high-power LED applications - the LEDs can be driven at higher current densities while maintaining a low junction temperature, says the company.
