MSC – Powerful 30W power supply module offers efficiency up to 88% (YDS GA030)

The YDS GA030 series is the most powerful in the company’s family of CE certified drop-in power supply modules and is now available from MSC. The GA030 modules deliver an output power of up to 48W, depending on configuration and output voltage. In addition to all standard voltages from 3.3 V to 48V system designers can choose among many voltages between not available as catalogue products elsewhere, further ±5V to ±24V as well as +5V with 3.3V, +12V, +15V or +24V.

As all other modular power supplies from YDS the GA030 series models feature a universal input that accepts 90~264VAC or 120~370VDC. Important additional features are efficiency up to 88%, an internal input filter, an output voltage accuracy of ±2%, an outstanding line and load regulation. Input to output isolation is specified with 3000VAC. Internal protection circuits against overload and short circuit ensure automatic recovery after the fault condition is removed. All this is packed into a fully encapsulated module of just 88.9mm x 63.5mm x 31.75mm.

The GA030 series power supply modules operate over a temperature range from -20C to +70C with natural convection cooling. All GA030 series models are EN60950-1 approved and meet EN55022 und EN55025, says the company.
