Mouser – Latest Qi solutions for wireless charging exclusively available from stock (Wurth Electronics 760308101)
Oct 22 2012 - New Technologies and Energy Harvesting [More New Technologies and Energy Harvesting Articles]Mouser has expanded its stock offering of solutions for Qi-compliant wireless charging with the addition of new products from key Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) members.
New from Texas Instruments is the bq500211 Transmitter Manager, which provides intelligent control over the wireless power transfer. Designed for 5V systems, the bq500211 conforms to WPC Type A5 and Type A11 transmitter specifications.
On Semiconductor’s NMLU1210 is a full bridge, semi-synchronous rectifier that is used by the receiver side to convert AC voltage generated by the transmitter to DC voltage. It is optimized specifically for power management tasks in mobile applications. Compact in an ultra-low inductance, thermally efficient package, the NMLU1210 makes it possible to apply the Qi wireless power standard in far more applications and products. Mouser is also stocking the Vishay IWAS-3827EC-50, which is slightly smaller than the original IWAS-4832FF-50 while maintaining all the performance. It was designed for receiver applications up to 10W.
In addition, Mouser stocks Wurth Electronics’ Qi-compliant 760308101 transmit coil and 760308201 receive coil, serving as the only manufacturer on the market offering both components.
Mouser supports our supplier partners in the Wireless Power Consortium’s initiative to promote fully compatible wireless charging stations for wireless devices by stocking the newest Qi devices. Qi standards provide design engineers with an accepted set of interface specifications, freeing them to focus on features and design, says the company.
