Texim – Alternative Industrial SSD Solution for mSATA
Sep 24 2012 - Subs & Systems [More Subs & Systems Articles]InnoDisk’s recently announced cross-platform Mini PCIeDOM D150, which belongs to its D150 series for industrial PC and embedded system, is now available from Texim Europe. The plug and play Mini PCIeDOM D150 features a standard Mini PCI Express interface, is driverless and available in capacities from 2GB to 64GB.
Industrial PCs motherboards, designed with a Mini PCIe interface, often need a long life cycle. Although mSATA is becoming more and more popular it is not able to satisfy those demands. Using mSATA requires circuit modification on the motherboard from PCI Express to SATA. After this modification it is not possible to use other Mini PCIe devices. InnoDisk designed Mini PCIeDOM D150 to target these requirements.
The Mini PCIeDOM D150 comes with Samsung latest 32nm SLC IC and InnoDisk’s own controller and firmware. InnoDisk D150 series include mSATA D150, SATA Slim D150, SATADOM D150S, SATADOM D150Q, CFast D150, and Mini PCIeDOM D150, says the company.
