Lane Electronics – Circular mains voltage connectors meet EN 60950 standard (LMV Series)
Sep 10 2012 - Switches, Relays & Onboard [More Switches, Relays & Onboard Articles]Weald Electronics’ new mains voltage circular connector range, which is approved to IEQC-CECC spec BS/CECC 75201-004, is now available from Lane Electronics. This includes the safety requirements of BS EN 60950 for safe use in mains applications and CE marked assemblies.
The LMV range has a brass shell and can be supplied in various finishes and shell styles. Available in two shell sizes, LMV connectors are suitable for direct connection in mains applications. The shells are earthed and the connectors feature finger-proof and leading earth contacts.
Maximum current capability is from 7.5A to 32A depending on size and available accessories suit multicore cable and multicore cable with inner collective screen. The LMV range is available from stock and a RoHS compliant olive drab finish is available to order, says the company.
