PSU – High-performance 50W DC-DC converters in industry-standard packages (TEN 50)
Aug 14 2012 - [More Articles]power Sources Unlimited (PSU) has announced availability of the Traco Power TEN 50 Series of high-performance 50W DC-DC converters in a 1in. x 2in. x 0.4in. industry-standard packages.
The TEN 50 Series models feature a high efficiency of up to 92%. The low thermal dissipation and the use of highest grade components allow for an operating temperature range of -40C to +85C. Forced air cooling is not required up to 55C. With an optional heat sink, this temperature can even be increased.
The unit requires no minimum load to obtain accurate output regulation. The TEN 50 Series comes standard with remote On/Off function as well as an adjustable output voltage range of ±10%. The converters are seen as the ideal solution for space-critical high-performance applications.
Additional features include 2:1 input range, 1500VDC I/O isolation voltage, metal case with insulated base plate, cUL/UL 60950-1, and IEC/EN 60501-1 safety standards approvals, says the company.
