Aug 15 2012 - New Technologies and Energy Harvesting [More New Technologies and Energy Harvesting Articles]Vishay Sfernice P13SM Series submersible cermet panel potentiometer, the industry’s first to be fully IP68 sealed against deep sea water, is now available from Mouser.
With a stainless steel shaft and bushing, the device operates in salt water up to 30m deep and achieves corrosion-resistance up to 960 hours. PS13M series features a high power rating of 1.5W at 70C and tight temperature coefficient of ±75ppm/C. Typical applications include underwater equipment, submarine scooters, lighthouses / buoys etc.
