Aug 13 2012 - Switches, Relays & Onboard [More Switches, Relays & Onboard Articles]Phoenix Contact’s rugged industrial relays, which have a lockable manual test button for universal use and a screw spring-cage connection, are now available from Mouser.
The general-purpose modules typically consist of a relay base, a plug-in industrial relay, a plug-in interference suppression module (AC types only), and a relay retaining bracket with eject function. They may include a status LED and, in the DC version, a freewheeling diode. The 4 PDT versions feature hard gold-plated contacts to allow even small signals from 1V/1mA to be switched without issues. The relays meet the requirements of today’s control cabinet designs with clear isolation of control signals and load, says the company.
