Digi-Key – Complete MMIC-based solutions for communication and demanding markets (Hittite - HMC920LP5E Active Bias Controller)

Digi-Key has announced the signing of a global distribution agreement with Hittite Microwave Corporation, a world-class supplier of complete MMIC-based solutions for communication and defence markets.

Founded in 1985, Hittite Microwave designs and develops high-performance integrated circuits, modules, subsystems, and instrumentation for technically demanding digital, RF, and microwave applications.

“Microwave and RF technology are widespread in numerous industries today,” said Mark Zack, vice president, global semiconductor product, Digi-Key. “The broad selection of high-performance product offered by Hittite will add a unique dimension to our line card, and we are pleased to enter into this partnership.”

Hittite’s Digital Integrated Circuit (IC), Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) and Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) products are developed using state-of-the-art Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) and Silicon based semiconductor processes. These GaAs, GaN, InGaP/GaAs, InP, SOI, SiGe, CMOS and BiCMOS semiconductor processes utilize MESFET, HEMT, pHEMT, mHEMT, HBT and PIN devices. The company’s product portfolio covers 35 product lines and includes over 1,025 standard products.
