Designed and produced by Data Modul, the Batron module is the first standard chip-on-glass (COG) module with a resolution of 320 x 240 and one single chip, says the company.

While other products with higher resolutions do require different drivers in combination, the new Batron BTHQ320240A-COG only needs one single chip which is based on the IST3088 and offers the user a simple handling and an easy integration into a system.

The display combines high resolution and best contrast with a compact outline of 110.3mm x 80.3mm x 5.7mm and a viewing area of 79.8mm x 60.6mm. With this, the new COG display is not only suitable for handheld devices, but for all applications with a high demand to space and weight.

The module has an operating temperature of -20C to +70C. and is available in FSTN (transflective positive) and FFSTN (transmissive negative) mode with white LED backlight. Other LED versions can be customized, says the company.
