Mouser – Horticulture LED light bars produce high photosynthetically active radiation (Illumitex Eclipse Surexi)

Now available from Mouser, Illumitex Eclipse Surexi Horticulture LED light bars are plant growth fixtures designed to produce high Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) values with unsurpassed beam uniformity and excellent light utilization, says the company.

The light bars were developed in collaboration with universities and corporate research partners to drive global horticulture initiatives. With Illumitex’s Surexi LEDs, the Eclipse is specifically intended for use in greenhouses, vertical farms, growth chambers, and tissue culture laboratories. These LEDs have been developed with the technology to create LED-based light content tailored to the optimal needs of specific plant species. By creating these custom wavelength combinations, the Eclipse can virtually alter the photosynthesis and/or photomorphogenesis response of the target plant, allowing more robust growth in less time. With breakthrough Digital Distribution technology, Illumitex LEDs deliver more light to the plant surface than any other LED on the market, says the company.
