Mouser – Compact easy-to-install connectors target various lighting applications (TE - Nector S Line)

TE’s Nector S Line UL style lighting connectors are now available from Mouser stock.

TE introduced the Nector S Line UL style lighting connectors to provide a power connection for small luminaires built into furniture, commercial refrigeration, retail display and kitchen cabinetry as well as other applications that require small-size connections.

Featuring a compact 7.5mm circular design that easily fits through openings as small as 8mm in diameter, TE’s Nector S Line UL style lighting connectors provide designers the ability to create innovative lighting fixtures because the size of the connector helps eliminate interference with the fixture’s design.

Compliant with UL 1977 electrical specifications, the expandable connectors support plug-and-play functionality for ease of use. A 6-way power distributor connector utilizes IDC crimp tap contacts for quick termination and crimp-style pin and socket terminals for cable assembly lead connections. Other components include pc board headers, splitters, panel mount housings and bridge connectors that complete the product offering. Keyed for 125VAC high-voltage, 6A and 42VDC low-voltage, 7A applications, Nector S line connectors may be used in applications that require a power connection and coupling between lamps.
