Jul 18 2012 - Power [More Power Articles]Now available from Farnell element14, the Enpirion EN6347QI is a high-efficiency DC-DC buck (step-down) converter, with integrated inductor, setting a new benchmark in power density of 113W/in2, says the company.
The device integrates MOSFET switches, small-signal circuits, compensation, and the inductor in an advanced 4mm x 7mm QFN package. The Enpirion EN6347QI DC-DC converter comes with 2.5V to 6.6V input supply voltage, 160C thermal shutdown, 4A continuous output current, 3MHz switching frequency and -40C to +85C operating temperature range.
