Farnell element14 has launched a new line of Emerson Network Power’s μMP configurable power supplies, which can be custom built in just ten days. They are modular, scalable and highly flexible while rivalling the cost of non-configurable power supplies.

The units offer market-leading density, efficiency, reliability and agency approvals along with the flexibility to build a time-saving and cost-effective custom unit. Up to 12 outputs with 25 standard output voltages are available, from 2VDC to 60VDC, with a 400-1200W power output range.

An easy-to-use PC-based PMBus GUI allows users to monitor the power supply operational status in real time.

Typical applications include general industrial, medical / laboratory, T&M, telecommunications, production and process control, defence / aerospace, data storage, burn-in and gaming systems, says the company.
