Intersil – New low-voltage LDO regulators deliver industry’s lowest dropout voltages (ISL80111)Jul 30 2012 - Power [More Power Articles]
Intersil has announced a new series of ultra-low dropout linear regulators, which delivers the industry’s lowest full-load dropout voltage, says the company.
The ISL80111, ISL80112 and ISL80113 are specified for 1A, 2A and 3A output currents, and are optimized for precision low-voltage regulation. Each includes a very low resistance NMOS pass transistor, and the ISL80113 can deliver an ultra-low 75mV dropout voltage at 3A. The devices’ 1.6% output voltage accuracy, 80dB power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and 100uVrms noise result in exceptional output voltage regulation. The LDO regulators also deliver best-in-class transient response, minimizing the amount of output capacitance.
All three LDOs have identical footprints, giving designers flexibility with load current demands that often change during product development. The ISL80111, ISL80112 and ISL80113 are available now in compact 10-lead, 3mm x 3mm DFN packages, says the company.Electropages - Electronics Components News, From Leading Electronics Distributors.
