Jun 11 2012 - Semiconductors [More Semiconductors Articles]Now available from Digi-Key, Texas Instruments’ ADS7953 is a 12/10/8-bit multichannel analog-to-digital converter with a capacitor-based SAR A/D converter with inherent sample and hold.
The low power consumption device accepts a wide analog supply range from 2.7V to 5.25V. A wide 1.7V to 5.25V I/O supply range facilitates a glue-less interface with the most commonly used CMOS digital hosts.
Typical applications include PLC / IPC, battery-powered systems, medical instrumentation, digital power supplies, touch-screen controllers, high-speed data acquisition systems and high-speed closed-loop systems.
