The devices are built around the smallest, lowest power, most energy-efficient ARM core ever developed. The NXP Semiconductors LPC11xx MCU is ideally equipped for use in battery-powered consumer devices, smart meters, motor control devices, and more. The devices feature 50MHz operation, nested vectored interrupt controller for fast deterministic interrupts, and a wakeup interrupt controller that allows automatic wake from any priority interrupt. LPC11xx ARM Cortex-M0 MCUs offer three reduced power modes: sleep, deep-sleep, and deep power-down, says the company.
