Mar 22 2012 - Semiconductors [More Semiconductors Articles]The Cypress CYRF8935 WirelessUSB NL third-generation radio system-on-chip (SoC) is now available from Digi-Key. It is designed to operate in the 2.4GHz ISM band and brings the next level of low-power performance and interference immunity into a small 4mm x 4mm footprint.
Key features include closed loop architecture to eliminate frequency drift, a power-efficient wireless protocol, and support for up to a 255-byte payload.
Applications include wireless keyboards / mice, handheld remote controls, wireless game controllers, hobby craft control links, home automation, industrial wireless links / networks, cordless audio and low-rate video.
