Feb 8 2012 - Power [More Power Articles]Available now from Mouser stock, the MPS MP2130 is a monolithic step-down switch mode converter with built-in internal power MOSFETs. The MP2130′s high light-load efficiency, low-voltage, synchronous switcher achieves 3.5A continuous output current from a 2.7V to 6V input voltage with ‘excellent’ load and line regulation.
The device is ideal for powering portable equipment that runs from a single cell Lithium-Ion (Li+) Battery, such as PDAs, portable instruments, DVD drives, small handheld and battery-powered devices.
